Research background

This project began after I visited the National Gallery of England. I think the National Gallery is a huge art palace, and the works of the National Gallery are of great artistic value, especially those classical oil paintings. I am a student. I admire these classical oil paintings very much, and I also want to develop classical oil paintings in the future, of course. The National Gallery of England is one of the places with the highest artistic value I have ever visited. When I was in China, I have also been to some places of high artistic value to let me understand the charm of oriental classical painting, such as the murals of Mogao Grottoes in northwest China and paintings on the pavilion of the Summer Palace in Beijing, the capital of China.

Thinking about in the study, which kind of painting is more artistically valuable, Western classical oil painting or oriental classical painting?

Conclusion of the study, Western classical painting. The artistic value of contemporary painting, oriental classical painting and contemporary painting is very high. They are equal. They are not independent. They should communicate more and communicate with each other.
